Neeleshwar is a small coastal town on the northern coast of Kerala. Known for its folk arts and temple festivals, Neeleshwar has recently been placed on the tourist map due to Neeleshwar Hermitage, a chic and sophisticated boutique hotel on an unspoiled sandy beach. This undeveloped coastline is an ideal place to rejuvinate, with a swimmable sea and a network of backwater canals not far away. Neeleshwar is only a two to three hour drive from Mangalore Airport and combines easily with Coorg, Nagarhole, Tellicherry as well as Sultans Battery. We think it’s one of the best beach destinations in southern India.
