On arrival at the spice plantation you will enjoy a tour through the grounds to learn all about the unique herbs and spices that are grown in this region. Your guide will explain both their use in cooking as well as medicine. Traditional Goan methods of organic farming are conducted here and you’ll also find coconuts, betel nuts, pineapples, different kinds of spices and much more dotted throughout the plantation.  After your tour you will enjoy a traditional farm fresh lunch; this will be a very interesting local meal with a south Indian touch and of course the use of fresh fragrant spices. The meal will be served on a banana leaf, and the cuisine will be a tasting menu of different kinds of lentils, curries, vegetables and non-vegetarian dishes.
