Day 1
Depart London at 20:45 with Jet Airways.
Day 2
This morning you will arrive into Delhi where you will be met by your private car and driver. You will be driven to your beautiful accommodation where you can spend the remainder of your day at leisure.
Day 3
Enjoy our Old and New Delhi City Tour today. Note the complete contrast in atmosphere and architecture between the two areas of the city. This evening you might like to enjoy a guided night walk through Chandi Chowk, one of India's oldest markets.
Day 4
An early start today for your train journey to Agra today, home to the Taj Mahal. Here you will enjoy a short tour of Agra, including the iconic and completely spectacular Taj Mahal, before heading onto Jaipur. Today is a long day, so this evening is completely at leisure.
Day 5
Enjoy a classic Jaipur City Tour and visit to Amber Fort today. Later in the afternoon head out into the countryside to Dera Amer, where you can enjoy an elephant ride through traditional farmland, followed by a wonderful al fresco dinner.
Day 6
Today your driver will bring you west to Nimaj or Barli (depending on your accommodation). This should take approximately 5 hours, covering 240 km. You'll travel through numerous rural towns and villages en route, passing by farm land, as you enter the depths of rural Rajasthan.
Day 7
Today is free to explore the rural area. Choose from village walks, bird watching, bullock cart rides or simply relaxing.
Day 8
From Nimaj/Barli you will continue west to Jodhpur, this covers a distance of 120km and should take approximately 2.5hrs. Jodhpur, known as 'The Blue City,' is home to the formiddable Mehranngarh Fort, arguably Rajasthan's most spectacular fort. Enjoy a cookery lesson this evening.
Day 9
Enjoy a 4x4 Bishnoi Village Safari along with a half day Jodhpur City Tour today.
Day 10
Continue south to rural Narlai today, a 150km drive that should take approximately 3 to 4 hours. Indulge in a stepwell dinner this evening! Stay in Rawla Narlai, a gorgeous 17th century fort.
Day 11
Today choose between a walking tour of the local village or horse riding through the glorious countryside.
Day 12
This morning continue south to Udaipur. En route you might like visit the spectacular Ranakpur Temple and Kumbhalgarh Fort turning your journey into a full day adventure.
Day 13
This morning you will enjoying a cycling tour through the countryside surrounding Udaipur, before enjoying a tour of Udaipur.
Day 14
Fly to Delhi this morning and take connecting international flight back home.
