Chanoud Garh is a converted 300-year old palace with views over the Aravali hills. Located in the centre of an untouched and very typical rural village, Chanoud Garh offers great comfort for those wishing to experience a glimpse of rural life in India. The property is spread over two main courtyards with seven huge and uniquely designed suites with very comfortable beds, contemporary bathrooms and oodles of character. Unlike some heritage hotels in India, Chanoud Garh has been sympathetically and very tastefully converted, with beautiful ancient frescos left untouched and plenty of antiques to marvel at. While there isn’t a pool, the family have designed some fantastic excursions including a jeep safari, cookery lessons and guided walks through the villages.
