Indrashan is a charming 10-room homestay run by Chandra and Bhavna Singh. Located down a quiet residential street in Jodhpur’s High Court Colony, it’s just 10 minutes from the clock tower and Jodhpur’s ‘old city’ area. The ancestral home dates back to 1962 but it’s been operating as a homestay since 1992. The simple rooms vary in size and comfort; we generally recommend the rooms upstairs as these have the added benefit of a large white communal terrace. Generally expect chintzy but comfortable interiors and simple bathrooms with hot water. Downstairs there’s a lovely courtyard filled with bougainvillea and potted plants; it’s here where guests often enjoy a chat over pre-dinner drinks.  Food is a real highlight and everyone normally eats the authentic Indian food together in the evenings. After trying the food you might like to learn how to cook it and your welcoming hosts will be more than happy to give you a cookery lesson for an additional charge.   Indrashan is a friendly, welcoming and truly authentic homestay ideal for those wanting a real Indian experience.
